As a Data Scientist you will :

• Identify valuable data sources and manage their collection

• Undertake pre-processing and cleaning of structured and unstructured data

• Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns

• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms

• Present findings and analyses using data visualization techniques

• Clearly communicate findings with various stakeholders, both internally and with customers

• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to mobility related datasets

• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

• Participate in innovative research projects

  
  

Why you are the Data Scientist we're looking for:

• You have Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science, statistics & mathematics (specialisation in Data Science is a plus) or a PhD in Engineering with a strong component related to machine learning and/or data and data processing
• You are proficient in Python programming
• You have knowledge on :
  
  • common Python data processing and visualisation libraries 
  • machine learning, deep learning and AI concepts
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark and Kafka is a plus
• Knowledge on traffic modelling is a plus
• Knowledge on database technologies and architectures is a plus traffic sciences is a plus   
  
• Experience with setting up ETL processes for Big Data is a plus
