Macq Joins the European Mobility Week 2024!
The European Mobility Week is a dynamic campaign aimed at promoting sustainable mobility across Europe. Held annually, it encourages cities and towns to implement and highlight initiatives that foster eco-friendly transportation options and reduce car usage, particularly in urban areas.
This year, the theme is "Mobility for Everyone," highlighting the importance of making sustainable transport accessible, affordable, safe, and inclusive for all, regardless of income, location, gender, or abilities. It encourages public transport, walking, and cycling as fair options while addressing transport poverty and promoting equitable mobility for every citizen.
Macq is excited to participate in the European Mobility Week this year, contributing to the vision of more sustainable and accessible mobility solutions.

The current commute & transport situation at Macq
We've mapped out the places of residence of all Macq employees in an interactive Google map. Afterwards we've questioned the employees on what their most used type of transportation is to commute to the Macq premises.
The results show that most people come by car (which is logical considering the places of residence map). However, it is certain that this number can be reduced if more people were open to commute with public transport more often.

What does "Mobility for everyone" mean for you?
For European Mobility Week 2025, we launched a special video campaign to explore what “Mobility for Everyone” truly means. The idea is simple: we asked members of the Macq team to share their personal perspectives on the theme.
Through short interviews, our colleagues reflect on the importance of making mobility safe, accessible, and inclusive for all — whether it’s through public transport, cycling, walking, or other sustainable options. Their insights highlight the challenges people face, the solutions that can make a difference, and the shared responsibility we all have in creating fair and equitable transport systems.
This campaign celebrates the voices of our team and sparks awareness about building a future where mobility is truly for everyone.

As part of European Mobility Week 2025, our colleagues were invited to take part in a fun and interactive challenge. Around the Macq headquarters, we hid 10 interesting Mobility Facts highlighting key insights about sustainable, safe, and inclusive transport. Those who found all the facts and completed the quiz received a special reward for their participation.
This initiative reflected our commitment to raising awareness and engagement around the theme of “Mobility for Everyone”, while encouraging curiosity and learning about smarter mobility solutions.
