This spot speed module provides instant vehicle speed using only one ANPR camera at a single point of measurement. It is possible to ascertain an approximation of speed per vehicle and per lane.
There are various different technologies that may be deployed: radar, lidar, laser, video analytics, intrusive devices (inductive loops, piezoelectric tubes, magnetic sensor, ...).
At Macq we may provide two types of technology meaning video analytics and radar.
All data should be stored in the M³ platform provided to this avail. The M³ platform can be consulted in real-time of afterwards whenever suits you best.
