About our New QCAM5
QCAM5 – Next-Generation AI Traffic Camera
The new QCAM5 is an advanced AI-powered ANPR camera designed for demanding urban and highway traffic environments. Building on the proven performance of the QCAM5, it integrates next-generation AI processing to go far beyond traditional number plate recognition.
Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson ORIN NX processor, it delivers outstanding performance for real-time vehicle recognition, advanced classification, vehicle counting, and speed estimation across up to 4 lanes, even at speeds of up to 300 km/h. Its enhanced analytics provide authorities with accurate, actionable data for smarter enforcement and traffic management.
Featuring a compact, discreet housing, a motorized support arm, and a motorized lens, the QCAM5 ORIN NX ensures easy installation while blending seamlessly into urban environments. It is a future-proof solution for safer roads and smart, connected cities.
Main technical characteristics
1. Advanced Vehicle, Object & Person Classification
Beyond standard ANPR, the new Qcam5 offers advanced classification of all vehicle types, including cars, trucks, buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and trailers, as well as objects and persons. It supports TLS 8+1 and SWISS10 classifications, providing a level of vehicle characterization not available on the standard QCAM5.
Powered by NVIDIA Orin NX, QCAM5 delivers advanced AI directly in the camera: instant speed estimation, vehicle classification, Make & Model, color, ADR, and driver behavior detection—without requiring extra hardware.
The camera goes further with vehicle generation recognition and integrated vehicle counting, enabling deeper traffic insights and more precise enforcement and analysis across up to 4 lanes.
4. Enhanced Detection Through Radar Integration & Flexible Optics
The new Qcam5 supports external radar integration for improved detection accuracy and is available with varifocal lens options (12–50 mm or 4–10 mm), ensuring optimal performance across diverse installation scenarios.
