Macq has worked very hard the passed few months to meet several strict conditions in order to achieve our ISO 27001 certification. And boy oh boy, how proud we are to announce that we have passed the audit!
For those of you who are wondering what exactly this ISO 27001-thing is:
ISO 27001 is a certification a company can achieve for information security management systems (ISMS). An ISMS is a framework of policies and procedures that includes all legal, physical and technical controls involved in an organisation's information risk management processes.
ISO 27001 uses a topdown, risk-based approach and is technology-neutral.
To achieve this certification, a company must meet a set of very strict conditions. To check whether these conditions have been met, an external audit is organized. After a positive feedback from the audit, the company receives the ISO27001 certificate.
