General conditions of use of the Website

The present sites are accessible through the domain names www.macq.eu, mobility.macq.eu and shop.macq.eu and are operated in accordance with Belgian law. 

The use of these sites is governed by the present general conditions. 

By using the sites, you acknowledge having read these conditions and having accepted them without reservation.

We cannot be held responsible in any way for any misuse of our sites.

1. Information on the websites

2. Application of the general conditions of use

2.1. These general terms and conditions of use (hereinafter "General Conditions") set forth the rights, obligations and limitations applicable to you as a user (hereinafter "User") when your access to our websites www.macq.eu, mobility.macq.eu and shop.macq.eu (hereinafter "the Sites") and all services offered through them (hereinafter "the Services").


2.2. Access to and/or use of the Sites implies acceptance with immediate effect of the General Terms of use and any modifications thereto, without prejudice to any special contractual conditions that may apply.


2.3. The nullity, invalidity or unenforceability of any of the provisions of the General Conditions with the legal or regulatory provisions in force, will not affect the validity of the other provisions.


2.4. The content included in the Sites, including these General Conditions, may be modified at the sole discretion of Macq S.A. without prior notice. The User is bound by such changes, if any, and is expected to periodically review the changes made herein.

3. Availability of the Sites

3.1 Macq S.A. reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, at any time, any feature of the Sites, including the availability of any functionality, database and/or content.


3.2 Macq S.A. shall not be liable to you or any third party for the termination or permanent or temporary suspension of any or all of the Sites.

4. Limitations of liability

4.1. The information contained on this Site is as accurate as possible and the Sites are periodically updated but may contain inaccuracies, omissions or gaps.


4.2. If the User notices a shortcoming, error or what appears to be a malfunction, he/she may report it to Macq S.A. by describing the problem as precisely as possible (page problem, type of computer and browser used, etc.) to the email address contact@macq.eu.


4.3. Consequently, Macq S.A. cannot be held responsible for any damage to the user's computer or any loss of data resulting from the download.


4.4. The sites contain hypertext links to other sites. Macq S.A. cannot guarantee that these websites apply a privacy policy that complies with the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data. Users are therefore invited to verify this for themselves by consulting the privacy protection clauses that must appear on each website. Macq S.A. shall not be held liable for any hypertext links set up within the framework of the sites leading to other resources on the Internet network.



5. Confidentiality of information exchanged and personal data - Cookies

5.1. The personal data that the User communicates when contacting Macq S.A. or requesting information are only processed by Macq S.A. in order to respond to the User's request. The User's personal data will not be communicated to third parties without the User's consent.

Personal data is only passed on to the staff responsible for processing requests. This data may be communicated to persons outside Macq S.A. when this is necessary for the processing of the User's request.

If the User refuses to provide certain essential data, Macq S.A. may not be able to process the request.

In accordance with the law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data, any person concerned by the processing of data may consult his/her personal data, have them corrected or, if he/she has good reason, have them deleted. To this end, they can send a request via the online form on our sites under the heading "GDPR / Privacy & Cookie Policy".

5.2. As required by Article 129, 1° of the Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005, Macq S.A. intends to inform visitors to the Sites about the use of cookies.

Macq S.A., its partners or third parties are the sole owners of the aforementioned intellectual property rights to all content presented on the sites.

Subject only to the restrictive application of legal exceptions, any use, reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, of the distinctive signs or contents presented on the sites without the prior written authorization of Macq S.A., its partners or third parties, is prohibited and constitutes a civil and criminal offence of counterfeiting.

6.2. The User undertakes not to alter, destroy, obscure or remove any copyright notice or any other proprietary right or label, or brand name appearing on or integrated into all or part of the sites.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1. The General Conditions are governed by Belgian law.

7.2. The Courts of Brussels shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
