Special visit at the "Public Space trade fair 2023"
MACQ S.A./N.V., BAUDRY Nathalie

On the 16th of February, we had the privilege of attending the Vakbeurs Openbare Ruimte (Public Space Trade Fair 2023) at the Brussels Expo. This renowned event is a key gathering for professionals involved in urban planning, infrastructure, traffic management, and sustainable mobility solutions. We were thrilled to participate alongside our valued partner, Trafiroad NV, to showcase our innovative Trajectory control-as-a-Service (TaaS) model.

Our TaaS solution is designed to enhance road safety, optimize traffic flow, and support municipalities and road authorities in enforcing speed regulations effectively. By leveraging advanced ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology and intelligent software, TaaS provides a seamless, efficient, and scalable approach to trajectory control. It enables law enforcement agencies and local governments to ensure compliance with speed limits across extended road segments rather than just at fixed points. This not only improves road safety but also contributes to a fairer and more effective enforcement strategy.

One of the highlights of the event was the visit of the Flemish Minister of Mobility and Public Works, Lydia Peeters, to our stand. We were honored to welcome her and share insights into how our technology is shaping the future of intelligent mobility. Minister Peeters has been a strong advocate for sustainable and innovative traffic solutions in Flanders, and her presence underscored the importance of collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors in tackling mobility challenges.

Throughout the trade fair, we had the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, city planners, policymakers, and technology enthusiasts, all of whom showed great interest in the benefits of trajectory control as a service. Visitors to our stand engaged in discussions about data-driven enforcement, the role of AI in traffic monitoring, and the impact of intelligent mobility solutions on urban environments. We also demonstrated real-world case studies showcasing the effectiveness of TaaS in improving compliance rates and reducing accident hotspots.

Our participation in the Vakbeurs Openbare Ruimte was not just about presenting our technology but also about fostering partnerships and exchanging ideas with stakeholders committed to creating safer and more efficient public spaces. The event served as a platform to highlight the importance of innovation in traffic enforcement and to reinforce our commitment to supporting smart city initiatives across Belgium and beyond.

As we continue to develop and refine our solutions, we remain dedicated to working alongside municipalities, road authorities, and technology partners to drive meaningful progress in mobility management. If you’re interested in learning more about our TaaS model and how it can contribute to safer roads, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
