Macq is looking for a new Integration Engineer to join our team in Brussels. In charge of the continuous integration of Macq products in Europe and internationally, you will be working on Unix server and embedded solutions deployed at our institutional customers.

Thanks to the richness and completeness of Macq's mobility solutions, you'll be working on a wide variety of technologies and solutions such as MongoDB, Kafka, Keycloak, Ansible, Zookeeper, Zabbix, Grafana, Akka, Nginx, VMWare and Nutanix, which are implemented in our cloud mobility platform and embedded systems.

Our integration engineers are also a privileged technical point of contact during the launch and life of projects, taking part in technical meetings with the customer, and providing the prerequisites for integrating solutions both in virtualization environments and in our customers' networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integrating various software applications and hardware components to create cohesive and efficient systems. This role is about deploying solutions, being technically hands-on. It requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.

As a Integration Engineer you are responsible for :

    • Execute integration plans for software and hardware products.
    • Implement technical solutions, ensure their compatibility with existing infrastructures in the customer's technical environment, and propose approaches on Macq’s technologies or processes based on customer feedback.
    • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner, provide technical support.
    • Conduct training sessions for users to ensure good understanding and effective use of Macq’s integrated systems.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of integration processes, configurations and technical solutions (documentation should be both technical and customer oriented).
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Stay updated with the latest technologies, best practices and market trends to propose innovative and relevant solutions.

Why you are the Integration Engineer we're been looking for:

  • You have a Master degree in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering or you are equal by experience
  • With at least one successful first experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux systems and environments  
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools, including Docker, Python and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of networks and telecoms, with an affinity for cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of virtualization (VMWare, Nutanix) and cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
  • Keen eye for Database systems 
  • Knowledge of web-oriented protocols is an asset
  • Ability to understand and translate customers' technical requirements
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers  
  • As a Integration Engineer, you are fluent in French and/or Dutch and have a good knowledge of English
